This is the LaMotte ColorQ Pro 7 Digital Pool Water Test Kit. It is a hybrid test kit as it uses reagents and a digital readout to display the results. The ColorQ uses a photometer which is basically light to read the color of the test sample in the ColorQ unit itself. I found this test kit to accurate as I matched the results with a digital tester as well as another reagent test kit. It is a sensitive test in that the tubes need to be clean and clear and you must "blank" out the unit correctly. The reagents need to be fresh also. But it does deliver spot on results. The kit is well organized and comes with a good amount of reagents. If your a homeowner your reagents will probably expire before you exhaust them. They last from one to two years depending on the reagent. If you are a pool professional you will need to stock the chlorine and pH reagents as they are good for 144 test. The reagents are affordable and this test is great in the respect that you don't need to match the colors to get your reading. The kit is not super expensive for what you are getting and the upside is that you are getting a kit that is very user friendly and accurate.
