Inchicore Works 175th Anniversary Open Day - Saturday 7th May 2022.
On Saturday 7th May 2022 Irish Rail held a open day at Inchicore Works to celebrate the works 175th anniversary. I hope you enjoy this collection of videos & photos from the event. This was a fantastic event with a great selection of Irish Rail locos & rolling stock on display including several locos and coaches from the RPSI's heritage fleet & 2 Visitors from Northern Ireland Railways 3000 Class DMU 3005 & 111 Class Loco 112. Also seen is some withdrawn 201 Class locos & 2700 Class DMUs. This event also provided a rare opportunity to view trains on the Dublin - Cork mainline from trackside at Inchicore. Thank you to everyone from Irish Rail & Everyone else involved for planning a fantastic event which was defiantly one of the best events of 2022. Audio has been muted in some clips due to music playing in the background.
