If you bend your arms, your head will be much closer to the ground, which we don’t want. It also requires a lot of strength to push back up from this position, so avoid it for now. 2. Instead of kicking with full force and smacking the wall, start with your feet on a chair, lift one leg up, then the other, and adjust your body position to find your perfect stack. Then hold. 3. Once you start to feel confident that you can hold your body upside down, start to kick a little bit more, eventually doing it from the floor and then from standing. 4. If this is still too scary, start with chest-to-wall drills instead. Begin in a plank and find your hollow body position. Then, slowly get higher and higher as you continue to practice.
