The Renaissance Resort at Ross Bridge is part of a much larger network of excellent courses called the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The RTJ Trail consists of 468 holes spread across eleven locations in Alabama. Dr. David Bronner, the CEO of the Retirement Systems of Alabama, dreamed up a collection of golf resorts so distinct and fitting for the natural beauty of the rolling terrain of Alabama that golf junkies from across the country and world would come out every year to play it. He knew only one man up for such a challenge - Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The resulting masterpiece includes The Shoals, Grand National, Capitol Hill, and 8 other golf destinations across Alabama. In the center of the state stands arguably one of the very best set of 18 holes out of the 468 - Ross Bridge.
