PM Modi Cabinet 3.0: Cabinet Portfolios Announced, Know The NDA Allies Cabinet Ministers PM Modi Cabinet Meeting: BJP leader Narendra Modi, who took oath for a third straight term as Prime Minister along with 71 ministerial colleagues, handed over the much-awaited portfolios for NDA’s third term on Monday. Eleven of them are from the non-BJP alliance partners. Among the major BJP allies who have got a ministerial berth are JDU, TDP, Shiv Sena, LJP, and other parties. Both the TDP and JD(U) are crucial allies of the BJP in the NDA government. The TDP has 16 MPs and the JD(U) has 12 MPs in the Lok Sabha. Here's a look at non-BJP leaders who were appointed ministers in the Cabinet. Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu: TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu is the new Civil Aviation Minister. Naidu contested the 2024 Lok Sabha election from the Srikakulam constituency, a seat he has now won three times in a row. HD Kumaraswamy: He first became the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2006 when he ran a coalition government with the BJP. The JDS leader, who won from the Mandya constituency, was appointed Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel. Jitan Ram Manjhi: The Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader was the first chief minister from Bihar’s Musahar community. He has been given charge of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Chirag Paswan: The young leader from Bihar heads the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), which has won five Lok Sabha seats. For the first time, he has become a part of the Union cabinet. Chirag is the son of Ram Vilas Paswan, who led the consumer affairs ministry until his death in 2020. Paswan, has been allotted the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Rajiv Ranjan Singh: JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan popularly known as Lalan Singh is one of the most prominent faces of Nitish Kumar’s party.
