Appreciating the smaller side of wildlife photography

So in this video, I decided to head out and photograph the smaller side of wildlife photography from damselflies to dragon flies even The Beatles were included in today's outing as I took a walk around Falshaw Moss nature reserve in Cumbria. Ospray Nest https://www.cumbriawildlifetrust.org.... This was all new to me photographing damselflies and dragonflies not having a clue of what each type was called, with so many variations different colours and sizes it was going to be a challenge but an enjoyable one learning new wildlife and photographing it at the same time. Fortunately, there was a notice board at Falshaw Moss that had some of the damselflies and dragonflies named on them, which helped initially but when going through the video and photos I decided to look up the exact name of species as some of the species vary in colour and have five different colours for one type of damselfly, fortunately, the British dragonfly society is a really good website that has many of the damsels and dragonflies listed and photographed so if you need some assistance in identifying any of your dragonflies and damsel flies I would highly recommend going to the British dragonfly society website. After a fun and eventful morning photographing the dragonflies and damsel flies at Falshaw Moss I headed off to Leighton Moss just to have a walk around and go and visit a couple of the other highs that I didn't do in my previous video, it was fairly quiet at Leighton Moss the only surprising thing I managed to photograph was the osprey that literally flew overhead and I managed to capture one single image of it as it disappeared. Oh and not forgetting the black-headed gull capturing the common blue damselfly in flight that was lucky. Anyway, just another nice day out photographing wildlife and learning about the damsels and dragonflies.
