12. Spread Your Wings (Queen-Live In Montreal: 12/1/1978)

Here's a gig that is considered a "classic" among Queen fans. This was requested by some people--so I must upload. I consider this to be one of the best gigs on the whole Jazz tour, and probably a top concert on the North American leg. The music performances are leaps and bounds above the ones on Dallas, and are at least on par with the New York and future 1978 gigs, so we are set for a great show. The quality is excellent, and it's complete! That's a bonus! Now, onto Freddie's voice, and notes... The wear and tear on Freddie's voice is starting to become evident on this gig: His voice is starting to crack and break during random moments (not just on higher notes). He still puts in great performances, and still goes for a few of the higher notes here and there. Note: This concert contains a blooper: During the Brighton Rock/Improv section, Roger decides to go into a random drum solo during Brian's guitar moment! Not such a great idea! Roger successfully takes over a good chunk of the section, and no one can follow him! ENJOY!!!
