DISCLAIMER: Always drink responsibly and do not drink and drive!! As you'll see in the video, you are TWICE as likely to get in an accident at a blood alcohol content of 0.04 compared to someone who hasn't had anything to drink at all! Now that said. I like wine. I'm just going to put that out there from the top. Big fan. And over the course of my life, I can say that my relationship with it wasn't always completely healthy. And until I took a break from the ole' adult grape juice, I didn't realize how much worse I felt on a daily basis from drinking. It was a great lesson in moderation! So I wanted to do another little experiment and really track the effects alcohol has on my body after a night of drinking. I even got blood work done before and after for various nutrients, hormones, and enzymes...but as you'll see at the end of the video, I probably should have consulted a doctor beforehand to help design the experiment. Oh well. At least we learned a lot about alcohol tolerance. A huge thank you and all my love to Adam Bartley for joining me for this episode!!! Adam and I worked together for 7 years on Longmire, he's one of my closest friends, he makes me laugh more than anyone I know, and I had so much fun doing this with him. Another big shout out and thank you to Dr. Steven Galen for looking at my results with me and giving us some really great info on the effects of alcohol, both short term and long term. ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: In order for the breathalyzer to take accurate measurements, we had to wait at least 20 minutes after having a drink in order to perform a test, which ultimately paced us. If we had drank as much as we did in a shorter time we would not have been okay, so don't try this at home. ------------------ VIDEOGRAPHY: Robin Gadsby ‣ / robin_gadsby EDITING: Peter Macaluso ‣ / _macarony Follow me on social and subscribe to my channel to keep updated on this whole YouTube thing, on my film and television work, and on my many other adventures :) YouTube: / kateesackhoffdotcom Instagram: / therealkateesackhoff Facebook: / officialkateesackhoff Twitter: / kateesackhoff
