Neverwinter Smooth MLMD Last Boss Tank PoV (Update Mechanics Description)

A very smooth last boss encounter. The best thing all group members can do is avoid explotions and poison breath as much as possible before reaching 20% HP. These attacks leave a 30 minute debuff, increases damage and has another negative effect, plus they stack. The last 20% is a phase where boss casts an AoE attack and adds another 30 minute debuff and stacks. Update: hello everyone. After doing a few more encounters, I noticed the following mechanics: At start, boss will use AoE shout-out/push back attack, leaving small poison pools, immediately will place red/black crystal for explosions (broken orange shield debuff icon). The explosion rotation is: at start will place 4 outside arena and middle will be free, next rotation 4 outside and 1 in the middle, and so on. After a time, boss will place explosion all over the outside part of the arena and middle will be free, the next rotation will place 4 explosions in the middle and all outside of the arena will be free. At 90%, after each AoE shout-out/push back attack, leaving small poison pools, immediately placing red/black crystal for explosions, boss will start jumping towards who has aggro (tank) and will cast poison breath (green skull debuff icon). From 90% to 50% boss will be doing the above mechanics, the only thing that changes is that a certain %, boss will not jump towards who has aggro after casting explosions, will be doing it between explosion rotation. From 50% to 20%, besides the above mechanics, after each explosion boss will use fingers to cast a random attack: can cast a cone attack in front of boss, can cast a cone attack of a big pool of poison in front of boss, can cast red small circles around random players and when moving you will leave a trail of poison clouds (avoid them, these will daze you and damage over time), can cast a poison meteor attack (regular I've seem it in the middle), can cast a medium red circle that pulls players in, if you get hit will leave a debuff (red broken shield icon). At 20%, dps/healer check starts, it is recommended to save artifacts/mounts and pop a little before 20%, so you can start burning boss. The mechanics for this phase is the same from 50% to 20%, adding an AoE attack that leaves a debuff (burning person icon) on all party members and stacks. If timed right, you can use artifacts/mounts 3 times to beat boss, otherwise is a wipe. Good luck everyone. Hope this helps. Happy Hunting.
