Nerub-ar Palace - Music of WoW: The War Within

This is the music that plays in Nerub-ar Palace, the nerubian raid in Azj-Kahet. These are all combat themes that mainly play during boss fights. These themes are also reused for nerubian delves and dungeons, like the City of Threads or Ara-Kara. Also probably a lot of music reused from Azj-Kahet in all these places, so check out that video if you're looking for some non-action nerubian music. Always great to have more music from Neal Acree. Although, lately it's been a lot of action-oriented music from him. There was his "Domination" theme from Shadowlands, his "Aberrus" and "Sundered Flame" themes in Dragonflight, and now all these nerubian combat themes here. I do kind of miss his older themes, mainly from Cataclysm through Legion, that were a bit more varied in terms of mood - not always action. Like in Legion, there were his incredibly beautiful themes for Dalaran. In Cataclysm, he made those recreations of classic WoW themes, like "Winterspring" and "Westfall". In Warlords of Draenor, there was the mysterious yet gorgeous "Shadowmoon" and "Nagrand" themes. I mean, I still do appreciate these newer action themes. But I am kinda hoping for more variance in the future. But yeah, these nerubian combat themes slap - I like the percussion, very reminiscent of the clicking of arachnid legs. And the strings are frantic, fitting for a fight against spiders. It really reminds me of his "Mantid" theme from Mists of Pandaria, which also had a lot of insect-like theming going on. Jake's "Arachnophobia" theme kind of reminds me of his music for Warcraft Rumble.
