Today Bible Verse in Tamil I Today Bible Verse I Today's Bible Verse I Bible Verse Today I12.07.2024 ENGLISH VERSION: Today's Bible Verse (12.07.2024): VERSE: Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. (PSALM 128:3 KJV) EXPLANATION: I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table." (Psalm 128:3) Today we will meditate on the promise. The people of Israel emphasized three types of trees and plants. The first is the olive tree. It refers to their spiritual life. Second is the fig tree. It refers to their political life. Third is the vine. It is showing their family life. The people of Israel would grow vines in their courtyards. It will bear good fruit and make them happy. During the day they sit in the shade of the vine during the sun. As a symbol of a blessed family, the Lord says of the wife in the family, "Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in your house." The word household is written in the New English Bible as in the midst of the house, and in the Revised English Dictionary as in the interior of the house. The wife is the ruler of the house. Inside and outside the house, she is a gracious vine and delights her husband and children. A wife's first responsibility is within her home. She takes on the enormous task of taking care of her husband and raising her children. That is what makes her children excel later. But those who have given their children to the Lord, and those who have placed the burden of their children on the Lord, will be at peace knowing that the Lord will take charge of my children and treat each one in its proper time. The Bible says, "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." (Psalm 127:3). See, we cannot make or create children. It is our God who miraculously created children's nervous system, skeletal system, respiratory system and thousands of other systems. He has given children into our hands to create and nurture them in a strange way. We are Care Takers. Children belong to God. But He has given us the responsibility of raising children. On that day when Pharaoh's daughter told her mother about Moses, the Lord lovingly commands us to give children to us and raise them for me. Therefore, it is the duty of parents to bring up their children in scripture reading, prayer and piety. Moreover, what promises does the Lord have regarding our children? How to raise children? We should also learn from the scriptures. On that day, the Manoah couple not only asked the Lord about their unborn child, but also prayed that the Lord would teach us what to do for the unborn child (Judges 13:8). Then the Lord taught the methods to raise the child. Beloved, consecrate your children to the Lord. Cling to the Lord as those who have faith in him. Do not keep worrying about your children in vain after committing your burden to the hands of the Lord. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household will be saved" is not the Lord's promise! (Acts 16:31) PRAYER: Lord of love! Thank you for your wonderful promise. I pray that you will put your grace on me right now so that I can bear good fruit and give life to those around me. I surrender my life completely into Your loving arms. Help me to live closer to you. Fill me with your living water. Grace me to be like a well-watered garden that brings glory to Your name and is a channel of blessing to many. I thank you for the blessing of a child. You are the God of prosperity. I dedicate myself to raise up godly offspring for you. Bless me that I may see Your blessings flowing down my family from generation to generation. Bless me that my children may grow like olive trees around the ball.
