2022 VERMICULTURE This video is all about building a worm farm in a Rubbermaid, plastic tote. You will need: Tote, Drill to add holes, bedding material (shredded paper, toilet paper rolls, coir, newspaper or cardboard), water, some soil for grit, dried leaves, kitchen scraps, and of course RED WRIGGLER WORMS. The red wriggler worms will break down the kitchen scraps and leaves into nutrient rich, live soil. The worms provide worm casings and COMPOST TEA to feed your garden plants. After a few months, you can sift the bin contents, keeping the worms and using the castings directly into your garden. Dump the worms back into the tote or start another bin with the extra worms that have accumulated. In colder climates, you will need to keep the tote in your basement or garage over Winter. Feed your worms every three days with your kitchen scraps. Watch them thrive and reproduce. Keep the bin moist. WORMS NEED WATER. PLEASE HIT THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON; that helps my channel grow. Leave a COMMENT about your garden experience growing potatoes of other vegetables.
