For this arrangement, I experimented with a couple of techniques to get around the single PCM channel limitation. As a result, most of the percussion is sample-based, with the only exception being the Hi-Hats, which are being simulated by the noise channel. While it may not seem like it, the background is using 3 out of the 4 available color palettes, resulting in a total of 45 colors being displayed at once to simulate the transparency of the magic circle.
