Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band, which formed in 1994 in Los Angeles, California by the name of Kara's Flowers before changing to Maroon 5 in 2001. The band current line-up consists of Adam Levine (vocals, guitar), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), James Valentine (lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Flynn (drums), PJ Morton (keyboards, backing vocals) and Sam Farrar (keyboards, synthesizer, sampler, guitars, bass, percussion). Former members of the band include Ryan Dusick (drums, backing vocals) and Mickey Madden (bass). This Love is the second track from their debut album, Songs About Jane, released in June 2002. It was also released as the record's second single in January 2004.
