Leading a first timer down the Orletta at 1.5'--Brooks Foster kayaking

Sept. 1, 2024. 1.5' at Husum. Pyranha Ripper 2L. I have had a lot of fun over the years leading other paddlers on their personal first descents. This was Henry Sollitt's first run on the Orletta section of the White Salmon River, and this video captures some of our conversations along the way, discussing lines and talking smack. Thanks to Adam Ernesti and Andy Farquar for joining us for the beginning of the run (they had another group to meet for a second lap and paddled ahead after Orletta 2) and for showing off some of their stylish moves for the camera.
