For Easter. From the 1979 CBC TV Special “Carroll Baker in Nashville,” guests The Oak Ridge Boys performed followed by Carroll for the show’s finale. The Oak Ridge Boys were a country and gospel quartet which in the mid-70s switched from gospel to country music. Here they sang their gospel hit, Just a Little Talk with Jesus. Carroll Baker was Canada’s Country Female Vocalist of The Year 5 times during the 1970s and she had twelve #1 singles, with several gold and platinum records including Best Country Album of the Year in 1976. Here at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville she closes her special with Just a Closer Walk with Thee and How Great Thou Art.
