"More than likely I'll be the final owner of this thing"....Yeah so I sold it about a month ago now.....It worked super all summer. The only breakdown it had this summer was when the bolt that holds up one of the wheels fell out while raking hay one day and the wheel fell off. Put a new bolt in and that was that sorted. The headstock got another small crack in it in a different place about one month after I fixed it as well but because I put those strengthening plates in, the thing was still strong enough. I never welded that crack and it raked for another 1000 bales like that before I sold it. Sold it to a guy I do work for who also has his own baler. He was getting me to bale only because the land I was baling for him was miles away from his yard so to save dragging all his gear up the road to bale 5 or 6 acres, it was just handier for me to do it as I was based much nearer. I do ramble a bit in this video but I can't be interesting all the time. I'm only a regular person doing regular things hai give me a break 😒 I hope people don't watch this and say Jesus what was that clown doing with the space heater outside. I was hoping to heat up the steel. Probably pointless but oh well. The paint turned out nice for a finish so there is method to what I'm at maybe idk....I'm only making it up as I go along but I do seem to be doing it remarkably well 😁 Paint wore very very well through the season, didn't chip or rust or anything all summer and it saw plenty rain as shed space was limited at times. It's still looks as good today as it did the day I painted it. Happy with that. Sorry if I sound so down all the time it's because I kinda am😅😥. It is what it is, I'll be fine. I bought myself a replacement rake this week so I'm excited to get using that next year. I will show it in a video when it arrives, I'm super happy with it tbh. It was a great relief to get a replacement rake so soon and not have the worry of "what am I going to do for a rake next season?" hanging over me all winter. I won't say what I've bought just yet, I will keep all that information for one video. I am super happy with it though just on first impressions.
