Bonding Shapes and Angles - Exam Question|A Level Chemistry (AQA)

In this video, I break down and answer a bonding (Bonding (3.1.3)) question from an AQA A-Level Chemistry past paper involving a sodium ion. We are required to draw the shape of the ion, state the bond angle and justify our answer. I explain briefly how we need to approach a question like this using the valence electrons to decide the number of bonding pairs and lone pairs and then go on to explain bond angle restriction by lone pairs. Although this is for AQA, there is a load of crossover that can be applied to other exam boards (OCR and Edexcel). If you enjoyed it, please like the video and subscribe. Feel free to ask for specific question walkthroughs in the comments.
