Day 2 of the trip. Going from Siliguri to Gangtok. Started at 5 am because have to reach Gangtok by 10 am so that I can apply for permission at the Home Department. Documents needed for permission are two copies xerox of each Votar I card, Driving Licence, Bike's RC, Insurance, Pollution Certificate and two colour passport size photos of you. If you apply within 10:30 am you can get the permission by 3 pm on the same day so that next day from 7 am to 10 am, you can get the road permit. After getting the road permit make 6 xerox copies which you have to submit on each check post on the way to Gurudongmar.
