Firstly, Supriya Devi, hailing from East Bengal (now Bangladesh), had no idea about this dish, which is essentially from West Bengal, and she was familiar with the quintessential ‘Machher Mathaar Chhyachra’ and that too with fish head and bones other than Bhetki.
