Douglas Richards, the singer, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist with the Isle of Wight band Plastic Mermaids joined Georgie Rogers live in the studio on her November Music Discovery programme on Soho Radio. Their debut album Suddenly Everyone Explodes was released in 2019 and the band is now gearing up for the release of their second studio LP, sharing the first two tracks Disco Wings and Environmental. Here they discuss the new album, break-up records, fully committing when it comes to videos, the iconic "hair hoop" for the Paris Milkshake single cover and many other topics.
