Bass Pro Shops in Orlando, Florida, and all over the country regularly hires Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) students and graduates as marine technicians. Bass Pro Shops and Tracker boats built a partnership with MMI, where the company has donated every boat in their line-up to the marine technician school. MMI students get hands-on experience and working knowledge of all the boats Bass Pro Shops sells. Stuart says demand for marine technicians is high across the country. Bass Pro Shops offers tool reimbursement and continued paid technical training, as well as relocation services for marine technicians.
