Aloha! For this month's MEOW, thought I do, "Five Feet Two!" (Eyes of Blue), © 1925. This song was pretty popular back in the Roaring Twenties and remains so today - - at least with ukulele strummers! Most uksters however, are unaware that there's not one, but two verses to the tune-- maybe because they're so silly and superfluous and thus rarely sung. So what I did, was to just go with the second verse, exchanging a line from the first verse, and a few words here and there, and voila! A kipped up verse that's the bees knees! 🐝 Be all that as it may I hope you enjoy (and if you should spot a petite blue-eyed flapper with saggy socks, send her my way!) 🧦
