New Virtual Testing protocols enhance vehicle safety by assessing design sensitivity across a broader spectrum of conditions while reducing costs. For the last 30 years, the Oasys LS-DYNA Environment has empowered OEMs and suppliers to develop vehicle designs that meet crashworthiness regulations and earn top safety ratings. We’re thrilled to announce that Oasys 21 will feature accurate correlation analysis and controls for Virtual Testing, including the Euro NCAP Virtual Far Side Simulation & Assessment Protocol, with C-NCAP and others to shortly follow. An array of integrated and complementary tools will automate assessments, enabling CAE and safety teams to analyse results thoroughly, with full support for VTC videos and quality checks. Key highlights: Overview of the new tools in Oasys 21 to help you with your Virtual Testing workflow. Demonstration using the new SimVT tool to correlate LS-DYNA simulations against test data and highlight any channels which fail to meet validation criterion 1. Demonstrations using the new tools to prepare LS-DYNA results for uploading to the Euro NCAP VTC server.
