With Wireless power sharing, your Galaxy phone can wirelessly charge another phone, Galaxy Watch, or Galaxy Buds when your battery is running low. First, keep in mind that by default, the phone that will only charge another device when it has at least 30-percent battery life. To turn on Wireless power sharing, swipe down from the top of your screen with two fingers to open Quick settings, and then find and tap the Wireless power sharing icon. If the icon doesn’t display, press the plus sign icon and drag Wireless power sharing from Available buttons down into your menu, and then tap on it. Also, remove any accessory that could cause poor connection or low charging speed, such as a wallet case. Now, place the phone back-to-back with the compatible device that needs charging. You can plug a charger into the phone sharing power so that you don’t lose battery life on that phone while charging the compatible device. When it’s time to stop charging, simply remove the two from each other. Wireless power sharing automatically shuts down after 60 seconds of not using the feature. The feature will also automatically shut off if the charging phone drops below 30-percent battery life, or whatever battery limit you have it set to. Also, if you charge the Galaxy that’s sharing power, charging speed may decrease, or the device may not charge properly, depending on the charger type. So if your battery’s running low, or your friend’s device needs a boost, rely on Wireless power sharing!
