How to Port Match a Throttle Body | Extremely Satisfying Today I chose to port match my new intake manifold to the same diameter as my Skunk2 Throttle Body. Unfortunately my throttle is pretty old school and I couldn't figure out what size it was. I googled the serial number and nothing came up. I then measured with a tape measure and converted inches to millimetres. I found out that my throttle body is about 68mm. This should help increase the flow once my engine is assembled and making boost. The process was honestly super simple. First I traced the gap of the gasket onto the face of the intake manifold plenum. Then I simply removed the material with an air powered die grinder that I bought at Harbor Freight. The last thing I had to do was smooth out the rough edges with the stone bit and the drill. Super easy, very fun, and well worth it. P. C. E. A.
