Mickey Mouse Works/House of Mouse: What else are you hiding from us Disney+?

Original Airdate: October 31, 2020 A look into Disney’s first full television attempt in rebooting the shorts of Mickey Mouse and friends, as well as the later package show that prevented those said shorts from becoming obscure. 0:00 Dumb Jokes and Overview of Disney+'s Missing Content 4:10 Mickey Mouse Works Synopsis 8:15 Overview of the Original Disney Shorts (Post-Strike) 14:17 Mickey Mouse Works Opinions 31:09 House of Mouse Overview and End ADDITIONAL INFO DUMPS *Should have done this initially, but in regards to the original title cards for Disney shorts getting butchered, I strongly recommend checking Erik's Channel out: (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQdp.... I tried sharing a link during the video, but wasn't able to for reasons unknown. Still, this guy has a lot of uncovered RKO title cards that Disney's restoration team would otherwise (even though they shouldn't) be too ill-informed about, putting it nicely. *Disney did get back to making one-shot shorts (not part of package films at least) from 1950 onward, many of which were very good (including 'Lambert, The Sheepish Lion' directed by Jack Hannah, a HUGE departure for his usual fare) . But of course, at that point, they were all overshadowed by the full-length movies and other shorts series as of then. *Regarding my comment regarding the animated Disney Anthology episodes that have yet to be included on Disney+, in the meantime, I would strongly suggest going to this channel, this person is doing god's work:    / @disneytelevisionresourcech5395  . Presumably for copyright reasons, parts had to be cut/blackened (mainly the original shorts that bridged the episode), but the then-newly animated material for those episodes are still there. I'd also dig around archive.org for these episodes as well (which you'll more likely find fully in tact). And even with that, there's still plenty of more lost animated material out there yet to be found. *At 37m52s, I meant bow, not arrow, whoops....I'm actually amazed I missed that bit TWICE during editing/re-editing and only just caught that now!!! DISCLAIMER: This video, like every video on this channel, is intended only for mature audiences. While the topic is primarily animation-related, the purpose of this video is to present an analysis about said media from a distinctly adult perspective, which may possibly include profane language, obscene references and satire of varying kinds. The Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) has made it illegal to collect personal data on children younger than age 13, which many websites from Facebook to YouTube were doing anyway, and that is why I am typing this to cement the understanding that I only upload content that I conclude animation fans and/or film/media collectors/fans/etc. aged 18 or above would find interesting. #Disney #MickeyMouse
