http://www.longplays.org Played by: Reinc Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is an action-platforming video game developed by Konami for the PC Engine's Super CD-ROM2 System directed by Toru Hagihara. It was released in Japan on October 29, 1993. A direct sequel to it, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, was released in 1997. The game was remade for the Super Nintendo as Castlevania: Dracula X, and the PlayStation Portable as Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. In 2008, the original game was released for the Wii's Virtual Console service in Japan and for the North American and PAL regions in 2010. The translation patch caused desynchronisations in my input movies, so I had to record the longplay live. Because of this, I make a lot more mistakes than I usually tolerate in my playthroughs. One section had to be re-recorded, which causes a discrepancy in my score and hearts between stages. Also, there is a graphical glitch during one of the ferryman's messages, which was likely caused by the patch. This longplay contains four playthroughs ( two as Richter and two as Maria ) in order to show everything. Many extra scenes were edited in at the end, including the Akumajou Dracula Peke stage, which appears when you try to play this CD-based game with a 16-bit system card.
