LOCH NESS HIKE | Long distance trail Scotland | Loch Ness 360 Some of Scotlands best wild camping can be found on the shores of the magnificent Loch Ness! I was eager to head back up north and discover some more hiking trails Scotland had to offer. The Loch Ness 360 is an 80 mile long distance trail that starts and ends in Inverness. The trail is often hiked in an anti clockwise loop around the loch, with fantastic views throughout. I hiked and wild camped the Loch Ness trail over 8 days with some members of my Officially Smashed It Hiking Club in May 2024. I have split the video into two parts, the first is the North shore that starts at Inverness and finishes in Fort Augustus. This half follows the Great Glen Way. The second half from Fort Augustus back to Inverness follows The South Loch Ness Trail. I have included as much information about this wonderful long distance hiking trail as possible, and pointed out our wild camping locations on the map.
