This simple guide shows what I did to 33 027 that arrived with me today, she was second hand so a full service was indicated. Thought I’d share the steps with you. Skill level = Intermediate + Pause the video if you need longer on any step. Once bogies are re lubricated with Labelle 106 there should be no need to do it again for many years. Hey, if your Heljan 33 suddenly starts going slow and drawing huge currents check this! Open and pop out PCB, there should be black insulation tape at the dcc chip end covering any electrical solder etc, if not add it, it can short to the body otherwise.
