Tra le tante novità sono tornati, a distanza di molti anni, i treni diretti tra Belluno e Venezia che fino alla loro sospensione impiegavano materiale diesel come vecchi cari navettoni (D445 + medie distanze) ed ora ripartono alla grande con i nuovi treni regionali acquistati dalla regione Veneto. Questi servizi diretti vengono espletati da nuovi, moderni e tecnologici ETR 104 "POP" (Alstom Coradia Stream) consentendo di portare con sé anche le biciclette.
