Unlike most scooters that require filling up the new gear oil up to the inlet hole, the Kymco Super 8 requires only about 120mL of gear oil filled to a specific level. Too much can affect the performance of the gears. It is best to do the oil change when the scooter have cooled to the touch specially when untightening and handling both drain plug and inlet hole bolts.
