Models walked down the runway wearing long and short dresses with details referencing Brazilian indigenous culture. The collection was inspired by the Ashaninka, an indigenous tribe from Acre state, in the Brazilian Amazon border with Peru. "What you will see in the show is a summary of the use of natural materials yet luxurious in an esthetic way where I could bring the synthesis, from my point of view, over the Ashaninka culture," Metsavaht said. Organic materials and several sustainable products from the Amazon, were used to make shoes and a handbag with Pirarucu fish skin. The 39th edition of So Paulo fashion week started continues until April 17th.
