MDCAT Re-Conduct 2024 Latest Updates :: UHS Court Case Decision :: PakEduCareer Website

MDCAT 2024 is being re-conducted in Islamabad by Shahe Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) and in Sindh by Sukkur IBA University. On 27 October, the Sindh High Court ordered the Government of Sindh to retake MDCAT within 1 month. Since then, there has been no official notifications regarding the official MDCAT reconduct date or the conducting University of Sindh. On the other hand, SZABMU will be re-conducting MDCAD in Islamabad and the tentative schedule has also been announced as MDCAT will be reconducted on 24th November 2024 (tentatively). UHS student filed the petition for granting 4 grace marks in UHS MDCAT in the same High Court which given the order to reconduct MDCAT in Islamabad. But the Honorable High Court dismissed the petition citing the jurisdiction issue. The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore will most probably open admissions in public and private sector Medical and Dental colleges of Punjab after MDCAT re-conduct in Islamabad and Sindh. The previous admission schedule announced by UHS Lahore has been cancelled. National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) has announced revised schedule for admission in Army Medical College (AMC) Rawalpindi and affiliated and Army Administered private Medical and Dental Colleges.
