KTR LIVE | Takes Charge As TRS Working President | Telangana Bhavan | CM KCR | YOYO TV Channel TRS working president and Sircilla MLA K T Rama Rao will formally assume charge of his new post at Telangana Bhavan at 11.56 am on Monday. The TRS cadres are upbeat over Rama Rao’s new role and are planning grand celebrations across the State. Though Rama Rao wanted it to be a simple affair, elaborate arrangements are being made by party leaders as party activists are expected to turn up in large numbers from all over the State. TRS party activists from Hyderabad will take out a rally from Basavatarakam Round Table School at 10.15 am and reach Telangana Bhavan before the arrival of Rama Rao. Upon arrival, Rama Rao will garland the statues of Telangana Thalli and TRS ideologue Prof Jayashankar on the Bhavan premises. He will take charge as working president in the presence of party office in-charge and MLC M Srinivas Reddy and other leaders including MPs, MLA-elects and MLCs. While the party cadre are making arrangements for grand celebrations, Rama Rao is likely to address them from Telangana Bhavan after taking charge. Rama Rao was appointed to the post to give special attention to party affairs in the wake of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s plans to concentrate on national politics to bring about a qualitative change and also fulfill electoral promises made to the people of the State. To strengthen the party further and bridge the gap between party activists and leadership, Rama Rao has decided to spend at least two-three hours everyday at Telangana Bhavan to attend to party affairs. He is also likely to take up district-wise tours within a couple of days starting with erstwhile Warangal district. On Saturday, Sanathnagar Nagar MLA and former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Khairathabad MLA Danam Nagender, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others inspected the arrangements being made for the event. They urged the police authorities concerned to make necessary arrangements to avoid vehicular jam near Telangana Bhavan as TRS activists are expected to turn up in large numbers to witness Rama Rao taking charge of the new office.
