Speaker 1: Today we're going to be having a look at and showing you how to install the Optronics Sealed Mini-Rectangular Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light in amber, part number A91AB.Here's what your light looks like installed. Now the reason you're going to want a replacement light like this is so that you can stay safe and stay legal at the same time. This particular light is a waterproof light. It is sonically sealed, so you don't have to worry about water getting inside of it, and that is perfect for boat trailers such as this one. You'll notice how bright it is even here in the daylight. It's even brighter at night, so you'll be easily seen as you're traveling down the road. People will know where your trailer's at, at all times. This light can be used as a clearance, or a side marker light when it is mounted at a 45 degree angle such as it is here. For the overall dimensions, we are looking at 2.5 inches long by an inch and 3/16 wide and it is 7/8 of an inch deep from the very top of it to it's base.Inside of our housing, we'll find a heavy duty, long life bulb, which will give us many years of trouble free service. The amber color of our light lets it work perfectly as a marker, or a clearance light. This light is compatible with Uni-Bond, Wesbar, Truck Light, Grote, Peterson, Bargman lights as well. This will directly replace either one of those lights. Our light is a simple one wire installation. If you need to pick up a pigtail to power it, you can pick one up separately on our website as part number A91LW. and the ground is provided through it's mounting base here.If you want to do a bracket like this one where it mounts on the surface like we have here, you can pick up a chrome one as part number A91CB, or a black one as part number A91BB.Now if you don't want to do a surface mount like we have here, you can also use a grommet mount where it will sit inside the frame of your trailer. You can pick one of those up as part number A91GB.As far as power draw, this light at its maximum brightness draws 12.8 volts at 0.2 amps. So it barely draws any power at all. You will be safe to run several of these on your trailer without having to worry about not having a power to run them all. This light not only meet SAE but it also meets Department of Transportation Standards, so you don't have to worry about not meeting any of those requirements when going to get your trailer inspected. Now that we've gone over some features of our clearance light, we'll show you how to get it installed. Today we're working on a boat trailer. We have an old clearance light that no longer works, so we're going to show you how to replace it. This is our old clearance light in question. It no longer works, so we need to remove it to replace it. In order to remove it, you just take a flathead screwdriver, come in at the top, and we can pry it out and pull it away, and our wiring may come unplugged at the same time and that's okay. With our light removed, we'll compare it to our new light. As you can see, they are identical on the front side as well as on the back side. Now installing this light is a very simple process. One thing that I would recommend doing though is take some dielectric grease, which we have available on our website, and put some inside the terminals here just to help better protect it from any moisture or corrosion, especially since this is a boat trailer, and it will be going into the water. We'll now plug our power wire into the one terminal off to the side away from the ground terminal. On the back side of our light, you'll find two terminals. One's for power and one's for ground. It doesn't matter which one's which. We can lift our light into place and snap it back into position and it'll ground itself in the mounting bracket. If you need a new mounting bracket, you can pick one up separately on our website. Now that our light's installed, we can hook up to our truck and test it out. In our case since we don't have a truck here right now, we'll be using a vehicle simulator to power the lights. As you can see, our new light is working properly. And that completes our look at and showing you how to install the Optronics Sealed Mine-Rectangular Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light in amber, part number A91AB.
