Ian spoke with relatives as well as a neighbour of deceased 19-year-old Alex Coombs who was allegedly stabbed to death by his father. On Sunday 5th May, 2024: around 11:00pm, Alex Coombs reportedly got into an argument with his father at their Joseph Drive, Mcleod Trace, Freeport home. • The argument quickly escalated, during which, the suspect allegedly armed himself with a knife and dealt Coombs stabs about the body before fleeing the scene. • Other relatives who heard the commotion investigated and discovered Coomb’s body on a chair outside the home. • He was subsequently taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility, where he was pronounced dead. • The police were also notified and officers of the Central Division and Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three responded and went in search of the suspect who surrendered to police two days later. • Investigations are ongoing.
