Updating the ETHOS Firmware, for people who struggle with computers

[NOTE] There is a more recent video on how to update ETHOS here:    • Updating FrSky ETHOS to version 1.1   A couple of days ago, I put out a video on how to update ETHOS. It appears though I may have been going too fast for people who aren't computer literate. So here is a slower version, explaining all that you need to know to complete this process. I hope you will find this process easier with this video. If you would like to watch the shorter update video, you can find it here    • Updating the ETHOS firmware   ** Update ** The naming of the SD card and FLASH drive contents is changing. From version 1.0.11 onwards, if you are using a Tandem transmitter (currently X20 and X20S) you should download the TANDEM_FLASH and TANDEM_SD files. Between 1.0.6 and 1.0.10 they had been named X20_SD and X20_FLASH, which caused confusion. People thought it was just for that transmitter, and not for the X20S also. ** In this video ** ETHOS GitHub Releases https://github.com/FrSkyRC/ETHOS-Feed... FrSky Tandem X20S https://bit.ly/MrD_3x6n6JL ** Contents ** 00:00 Introduction 00:49 Checking the current firmware version and region 01:32 Downloading the firmware - Which files do you need? 03:32 Performing the downloads 05:05 Opening up Windows File Explorer 05:44 Enabling bootloader mode and plugging in the transmitter in to the computer 06:47 Finding the Flash drive and MicroSD card in File Explorer 07:19 Copying over the Flash files 09:13 Copying over the SD Card contents 11:10 Copying over the new Firmware 12:40 Unplugging the USB cable 13:40 Getting out of bootloader 13:53 Powering on the transmitter and checking the new version number 14:14 Conclusion ** Help other RC pilots find this video ** If you found the video useful, I'd appreciate a thumbs up.
