Before I post some more of the Zagreb WTTC, here's an old gem from the 1991 in Chiba, Japan, the first one I ever attended. On the first day there, I walked in the practice hall, and there was the Swedish Team at practice: Jan-Ove Waldner hitting with Mikael Appelgren, and Peter Karlsson hitting with Jörgen Persson. Waldner and Persson would meet in the Mens' Singles Final a few days after this was recorded. While there are clear differences between today's game and the technique from over 30 years ago, it is obvious that these players were among the pioneers of today's modern game. The video quality is restricted by the fact that the original was shot in VHS. Intelligent software can only do so much... :^)
