Easy Homemade Bone Broth (made in Crock-pot)

Make your own bone broth at home. Great for cooking, and drinking on its' own. Bone broth is a gut healing food for anyone with digestive issues. I like to heat a mug of bone broth and drink it. It's so delicious, and makes my stomach happy. This broth is also low Fodmap friendly - without any onions, or garlic. It is recommended to make your own bone broth at home, since many store bought options are made with onions and garlic (ALWAYS check the labels). And those are known triggers for people with digestive problems. Here's what you'll need: A mixture of marrow bones, meaty bones (ribs), jointy bones (chicken feet, wings, necks, cow knuckles, ox tails) 1- 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar Filtered water Optional: carrots, celery, (onion + garlic - if you don't have any known digestive issues) Instructions: Roast bones in oven (350 F degrees) for 30 minutes. Place roasted bones in Crock-pot/slow cooker. Followed with apple cider vineger and water - and any veggies if using. Set the Crock-pot to low and cook for 12 - 48 hours (the longer you slow cook the broth, the richer it'll become). TIP: You can use the same bones to make another batch of bone broth. Just and more apple cider vinegar, and water. Replace cooked veggies (if using) with fresh ones. Then reset timer and slow cook away (I slow cook the second batch longer than the first, to help pull out the nutrients). Note: This is also safe for cats and dogs to have if they have any stomach issues.
