Video showing current progress on recreating the Colne Valley line between Chappel & Wakes Colne and Haverhill , along with the Bury St Edmunds branch from Long Melford, the Stour Valley route to Shelford and the Saffron Walden branch. This video covers the Chappel & Wakes Colne - Haverhill section, the return journey of an earlier video. The recreation is centred on the period around 1959 - 1960, just before there were any major curtailments to service, however some sidings had already been removed in the mid 1950s. The video starts as we load up before leaving Haverhilll The video also includes a brief look at each station as we drive down the route, before completing this leg of the journey at Chappel, finishing with a view of the viaduct.
