In today's video I take you through one of the main problems with the bike at the moment, which is that it does not go into 1st gear with jerking forward and cutting out. I did think it could be the side stand but, normally a side stand cutout would jerk the bike forward, just cut the engine, so I am inclined to believe the clutch is not disengaging when the lever is pulled. I managed to find that the actuator arm is actually a bodge job welded together from either two separate ones or the one original that maybe broke in half somehow (I dread to think how). After trying to tighten the clutch cable, reposition the actuator and test it, the actuator spline grip snapped, so couldn't really progress much further. Ordered a new (used) one from Ebay, so make sure you subscribe for part.2.
