I use this term because the sound will resemble sort of like when a power steering pump is low on fluid. This sound was noticeable while driving and needed to figure it out. The ford 150 with the 5.4 3v engine has a number of idler Pulleys. The more idlers you have the greater chance of a bearing failing that will be causing the noise. You can either replace the bearing or grease it like I did in the video DISCLAIMER: Due to factors out of the control of Bullshitkorner and Bsk Garage, we cannot guarantee against improper use or unauthorized modifications of this information.
