This week's episode, we bring you up to speed on the 65 Riviera, 67 C10 Project and let you know what happened with the side by side trade. The 1965 Buick Riviera is getting side much needed attention. We did some, not so exciting touch up work and maintenance to the underbelly of the car. Made a few patch pieces and brought some gaps and welds closer to finished products. Lots of tedious work to get all these custom pans, existing support brackets and patch pieces to come together and ready for primer and seam sealer. We also show you what all needed to be engineered, fabricated, and brought together to create a support system for the existing body mounts. We want to keep the custom feel of the firewall area and do away with the stock ugly. At the same time, we need to keep all the structure and support for the this location. We go into great detail on all of this on the Riv. As for the 1967 Chevy C10 Truck, we show all the details with the new roof skin. We show all the manipulating, the cuts, the wedges and the thoughts put into how we removed the drip rail and tightened up the roof line. We drop the flush mount glass in to show off the new lines, we show off the not so great aftermarket doors. Here's a hint, they don't match. During all of this we bring the concepts and thoughts for finishing the roof line and around the doors as well. As always, pinkies out and Cheers!!
