Senior Editor Alex Cyr traveled to New York City to attend the in-person launch of Brooks' newest running shoe: The Glycerin Max, a maximalist take on their luxury training sneaker franchise. Dubbed a "shoe from the future", the Glycerin Max is big, bouncy, comfortable, and a little heavy. It also comes with an intriguing promise: no unsteady landings, which are all too common in high-stack sneakers. Alex had the chance to learn about the Glycerin Max's full anatomy, and then take it for a steamy workout in Central Park.
