Classes to take in College for Medical School 2021| Required Classes | Which HELP for Medical school? Hey Everyone!! First, IT HAS BEEN WAYYYYY TOO LONG SINCE MY LAST VIDEO!! I had to take some time to handle my educational business lol, but now I'm back! This video was requested a while back but I wanted to post it right before registration periods open for FALL 2021 semester! I want to clarify a few things: 1. ALWAYS double check which prerequisites are required for the medical schools you may be interested in applying to! Not every school has the same requirements! 2. Some classes that are usually in the gray area include: Physicis Biochemistry Calculus Statistics Other courses that are specific to that institution 4. Cell biology is not a prerequisite for medical school, but is EXTREMELY helpful for the MCAT if endoplasmic reticulum and golgi apparatus is not your forte lol. 3. The latter half of the video discusses classes that are typically offered in college, THAT YOU WILL LEARN IN MEDICAL SCHOOL AS WELL! With that being said, it IS NOT necessary to take these courses in college unless they are required for your degree plan (Biology, Biochem majors, etc). In my opinion, these courses helped prepare me for medical school and I encourage you guys to take as many of them as you can!! I personally did not take Anatomy but I SHOULD HAVE lol. 4.
