My friend Tom brought over his chainsaw and was helping me as I was cutting up some wood with it. We were both amazed at how beautiful this wood was once it was cut - we really had no idea what to expect :) Sometimes I'm really surprised at how beautiful wood is on the inside when it's hard to tell what it's going to look like from the outside. Once all the slices were cut, I was really excited about making an art piece out of them. I guess you could say I really put my heart into this one :)
