Carburetor Adjustment Tool DIY, Float Height Gauge - Honda CB750 | Part 28 If you want to buy a proper gauge this one looks good: http://ebay.us/omtIdp But I used some recycled plastic from an Ice Cream carton. In this video, I make a float height gauge and set the floats for my CB750 K0 restoration project. Setting the float heights can be a little fiddly, so making a gauge to set them all the same really helps. I discovered that Honda recommends not putting the carbs upside down, but at an angle so that the float tang is just touching the float valve rather than fully compressing it. The measurement is from the rim that the float bowl seats into, not the gasket face. For a Honda CB750 K0 the measurement is 26mm. Whenever I am playing around with one of my projects, I always try to wear good overalls like these http://ebay.us/2LOCDG and gloves http://ebay.us/gcA4XD For more helpful how-to guides and restoration project logs, visit our blog: https://www.spannerrash.com/ As an Amazon Associate, Ebay Partner and Awin Affiliate, we earn a small commission from qualifying purchases.
