This really depends on how large the flattest area is, but there can also be other factors to consider. Generally speaking, the larger the flat area is the more difficult it can be due to the film sitting tightly against that large flat area. The larger flat areas tend to make it more difficult to squeegee the air out. There are techniques and tricks you can learn in this video when it comes to installing a film that isn't pressure sensitive such as Colorfusion from Vvivid, but also a vast majority of materials / brands on the market.
