Sometimes you forget in a sea of overuse and constant reliance on the character, Venom's story is one of the best Spider-Man arcs in the character's history. Leave it to Insomniac to give us the Symbiote story in a way that doesn't feel rehashed, tired, and overdone! And we have Tony Todd as the voice of the titular antagonist, so it's bound to be menacing as hell. His theme is a simple six note riff that plays, either on low synth or distorted vocals of some kind. It's a very alien theme, capturing the Symbiote's otherworldly presence with a brisk motif that still evokes menace in spite of it's short length. What carries the theme to greater heights is how it's further implemented throughout the score, played on brass, alongside rushing strings and distorted synth beats, and even performed alongside a grandiose choir in the final battle of the game.
